1.Nitrates (e.g., nitroglycerin, isosorbide dinitrate): Cialis and nitrates both lower blood pressure. Taking them together can cause a significant and potentially life-threatening drop in blood pressure (hypotension), leading to dizziness, fainting, or even heart attack or stroke. It is contraindicated to use Cialis with nitrates or recreational "poppers" (amyl nitrites).
2.Alpha-blockers (e.g., prazosin, terazosin, tamsulosin): Both Cialis and alpha-blockers relax blood vessels, which can lead to excessive blood pressure reduction when used together. This may result in dizziness, fainting, or orthostatic hypotension (a sudden drop in blood pressure when standing). If needed, your doctor may adjust the dosage or recommend spacing the medications.
3.Other antihypertensive drugs (e.g., atenolol, propranolol, enalapril, lisinopril): Cialis can enhance the blood-pressure-lowering effects of these medications. While this interaction is usually less severe than with nitrates or alpha-blockers, it can still cause dizziness or fainting in sensitive individuals. Close monitoring of blood pressure is recommended.
Cialis (tadalafil) can interact with certain foods and beverages, potentially altering its effectiveness or increasing the risk of side effects. Here are the key drug-food interactions to be aware of:
Nitrates– These commonly used medications relieve blood pressure from minutes to hours after they were taken. They can lower blood pressure by up to 80% when used with nitrates. While using Cialis with nitrates, your doctor may stock medications for mild-to-Moderate Chorous Testing of Blood Pressure:
Alpha-blockers: Alpha-blockers can worsen blood pressure-lowering effects of Cialis, leading to symptoms like excessive dizziness or fainting in sensitive individuals.
I’ve found that my doctor has been a little hesitant to get in touch with me.
I’m sure she’s just trying to get to a place that’s been a bit of a struggle with, and she’s not too keen on me being alone. But, I’ve never had a bad experience in my life!
As I was about to start my first prescription, I was really surprised to find out that I am allergic to Viagra, Cialis, or any of the other ingredients in these two products.
So I am a little nervous to go to the doctor for the first time today…
Do I need to worry about the medication? Yes.
Are there any possible interactions I should be aware of with my doctor before I start?
Before I start my first prescription, I need to know how to take my medication correctly and safely.
Is Cialis the same as Viagra? Yes!
Do I need to take the same dose of Viagra or Cialis? Do I need to take them together? No. I can’t take both at once.
How long does Cialis last? Cialis, Viagra, or Viagra together? It’s been around for almost 30 years!
Is the Cialis effect that much longer? The difference is that I don’t need the other medication, but I need to take it for a longer period.
Is the effect of Cialis more pronounced when I’m on it? I’m on it for about four months and that’s pretty much how long I can take it.
I would rather take a tablet with a pill, than a pill with one. Should I take a different pill, and what? Should I try taking one with my own money?
I’m sure you can imagine my excitement when I first started taking Cialis and Viagra together.
It turns out that I’m on both drugs. But I am so hesitant to take Cialis and the other two. I have had so much difficulty taking them together that it makes me really nervous.
I have never taken Cialis in the past and would not recommend it to anyone. But I want to know how long I can take them together.
It turns out that I have been on both and Cialis for about a year and a half.
I have taken about 30 tablets of Cialis and Viagra together.
I feel so comfortable taking these two medications together and have never taken any other medications in my life.
Now, I know that I will go through the same struggles and challenges to the end of my life. So I decided to give this my best support. I will always be there for you.
Yes, I do.
Are there any other interactions I should be aware of with my doctor before I start?
Is there anything I can do to help me get on with my life?
I have to be very cautious about taking certain medications, including Cialis. I’ve never taken Viagra or any other ED product. So I don’t know what to do to help me with Cialis. I need to be careful with all medications I take.
I want you to have an open and honest conversation with your doctor about how they can help you get on with your life.
I know that you feel a lot more comfortable talking about your health and wellness with your doctor. But, I want you to know that I can’t take any more of these two products together than they can take either. So, please let me know how you can take them together.
If you have any questions or concerns or just want to know how to take these two medications together, feel free to.
Thank you.
